The Lovers

The next Literature Live! Evening promises to be a wonderful one for lovers of literature and the novel. It features Amitava Kumar, the Helen D Lockwood Professor of English at Vassar College,which as you know, is one of America’s finest. His new novel, ‘The Lovers’, which we are launching at the event, has received rave reviews. His last book, ‘Lunch with a Bigot’  was a world-wide success.

In conversation with him will be the incomparable Shobhaa De, so it’s bound to be a scintillating evening. See you on Thursday, August 3 at 6.30 at NCPA’s Little Theatre. Seating,as usual, is on a first come, first served basis, so be early!
