LIRIKA COMES TO TOWN celebrates a poetic and cultural exchange between Slovenia and India, bridging languages and traditions through verse. Last year, three Marathi poets traveled to Slovenia for a translation workshop, where their poems were shared and performed in both Marathi and Slovenian. This year, the collaboration continues in India, with Slovenian poets joining for a three-day translation workshop. The event will culminate in a live performance of Slovenian poetry in Slovenian, Marathi, and in English, showcasing the rich cultural exchange between the poetic traditions.
