Akhil Gupta is an author and founder of Universal Enlightenment and Flourishing, dedicated to human thriving and religious literacy. He has had a long association with Harvard University since 2015, first at Advanced Leadership Initiative as a fellow, as an Impact Leader in residence in 2023, and as a guest at Harvard Divinity School serving on its Leadership Council since 2017. From 2005 till 2014 he was the Chairman of Blackstone India. From 1992 till 2005 he worked with Reliance Industries Limited as CEO-Corporate development.
Akhil Gupta has an MBA from the Graduate School of Business, Stanford University and a B.Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology. He served on the Advisory Council of the Graduate School of Business, Stanford University from 2014 to 2021.
