Violinist/Composer, and a pioneer of the global fusion concept, Dr. L. Subramaniam has performed/recorded Carnatic Classical Music, Western Classical Music, and also composed for and conducted Orchestras, scored for films, and collaborated with a wide range of some of the greatest musicians from different genres of music.

Dr Subramaniam has both a medical degree and a Ph.D in Raga and Harmony. He is the Founder/Director of the prestigious Lakshminarayana Global Music Festival (LGMF) in India, and the Subramaniam Academy of Performing Arts (SaPa) a premier institute for musical education. He also co-founded the Lakshminarayana Global Centre of Excellence (LGCE) which offers Music Honours degrees.
