Leslie Carol Roberts (MFA, Iowa; BA, Michigan) weaves reportage and personal observation to capture her fascination with how writing allows us to get lost in The World. Books include The Entire Earth and Sky: Views on Antarctica and Here Is Where We Walk: Episodes from a Life in the Forest. She is completing a novel, Hear You Scream exploring marital violence; and a collection on travel: Death and Other Possible Futures. A global explorer, including three journeys to Antarctica, Roberts, a Fulbright scholar, is a Professor in the MFA Writing Program, California College of the Arts.
