Leslie Carol Roberts (MFA, Iowa; BA, Michigan) weaves reportage and personal observation to capture her fascination with how writing allows us to get lost in the world. Her books include 'The Entire Earth and Sky: Views on Antarctica' and 'Here Is Where We Walk: Episodes from a Life in the Forest'. She is completing a novel, 'Hear You Scream' exploring marital violence; and a collection on travel: 'Death and Other Possible Futures'. A global explorer, including three journeys to Antarctica, Roberts, a Fulbright scholar, is a Professor in the MFA Writing Program, California College of the Arts.
