Michelle Philip, Associate Professor and Head of the English Department at Wilson College, Mumbai, has led the department for 29 years. She holds degrees in English Literature from Madras Christian College and the University of Madras, an MPhil from the University of Mumbai, and a PhD from Punjab University on women in Hindi cinema. A media literacy expert, she lectures globally and has recently edited the book, Popular Culture Chronicles. She hosts the podcast "Soul3".
