Murzban Shroff’s fiction has appeared in over 75 literary journals in the U.S. and UK. He has received the Bacopa Review Fiction Award and the John Gilgun Fiction Award, and has been frequently nominated for the prestigious Pushcart Prize. His story collection, Breathless in Bombay, was shortlisted for the Commonwealth Writers’ Prize in the best debut category from Europe and South Asia. His novel, Waiting for Jonathan Koshy, was a finalist for the Horatio Nelson Fiction Prize and was published in India, China, and the U.S. His India collection of stories, Third Eye Rising, featured on the Esquire list of Best Books of 2021. He has spoken at several international literary festivals and universities.
