Maddalena Vaglio Tanet graduated from the University of Pisa and holds a PhD in literature from Columbia University in New York. She lived in Berlin for many years before moving to the Netherlands, where she works as a literary scout. Her 2023 novel “Tornare dal bosco” was translated into several languages, including English. It was awarded the Segafredo Prize and shortlisted for Strega Prize, Flaiano Prize, and Fiesole Prize. Maddalena is also the author of award-winning children’s books. Her last one, Rim e le parole liberate came out in 2024.
