Marcus du Sautoy is the Simonyi Professor for the Public Understanding of Science and Professor of Mathematics at the University of Oxford. He is author of eight books and two plays including his most recent book Around the World in 80 Games. He has presented numerous radio and TV series including a TV series for the BBC called The Story of Maths. He works with several arts organisations bringing science alive for the public, including The Royal Opera House and the Glastonbury Festival. He has received an OBE for services to science and is a Fellow of the Royal Society.
