Vaishali Shroff

Author, India

An engineer turned award-winning author, Vaishali Shroff has published over 250 stories, both fiction and nonfiction, including over 20 books for children. Her best known books include 'The Adventures of Padma and a Blue Dinosaur', 'Meera Mukherjee: Breaking Moulds' and 'Batata, Pao and All Things Portuguese', which won the AutHer Award 2023 and an Honourable Mention at the BK Awards 2023. She is the author of the critically acclaimed 'Taatung Tatung and Other Amazing Stories of India's Diverse Languages'. Invited to speak at The British Society for the History of Science, her latest works include 'Ganesh Pyne's Twilight Dreams' and '10 Indian Scientists Whose Extraordinary Work You May Not Know'. Shroff made her debut as a script-writer with 'Rajasaur-The Movie', the first ever movie on Indian dinosaurs.
